FROM THE FOUNDER
The Oasis started with emails. People would finish a class on the channel and write to ask where the rest of it lived. The deeper lessons. The sources. A place to ask the question that was actually sitting on them.
For a long time the answer was: come to Tsfat. Most people cannot come to Tsfat this year. So we built the study hall online.
We teach in Tsfat several times a week, the cameras are already rolling, and the Oasis is where all of it lands. The lessons that do not go public. The source sheets and the long footnotes. The arguments. The rabbis answering what members actually ask.
It is early, and I will not pretend otherwise. 59 of us so far. Not every room is finished. But the people inside are the kind you want to learn next to, and eighteen dollars a month while we build it together is the honest price. After July 31 the door costs double for whoever comes later. Everyone already inside keeps eighteen for good.

WHY THIS EXISTS
You have outgrown the surface
Maybe you've already been through the circuit. The shiurim that never got past the first base. The online teachers recycling the same lines with new thumbnails. At some point the inspiration stops landing, and what you want instead is the actual text, with people willing to sit in it with you and argue when something doesn't add up.

WHAT IS INSIDE
The rooms, in plain terms
1. The Learning Library
Five rooms: Kabbalah, Musar, Torah Essentials, Tanakh, and Commentary. More than forty lessons you will not find on the free channel; over thirty hours so far, with source sheets, extended footnotes, and the full length director's cut of classes the public only saw in part.
2. Something new every day, Sunday through Thursday
Some days a full recorded lesson from Tsfat: others, Ask-a-Rabbi answers, the podcast working thread, prayer requests, or news from the synagogue. Classes are being recorded all the time and members receive them as they land. No upsells, no locked tiers. The room is never stale.
3. Ask a Rabbi
Send in the question that has been sitting with you. Members upvote what matters most, and the faculty answers the top questions in a monthly video response.
4. Live discussion
Every episode of The Parasha Deep Dive podcast has its own working thread, and the Town Square is open all week for daily wins, honest questions, and the occasional argument worth having.
5. A chevruta, matched
Tell us your level, your pace, and your time zone, and we pair you with a study partner from the community. Learning alone is the hardest way to learn.
6. The quieter rooms
Not everything is about progress. A grief sharing space, daily check-ins, and small prompts that keep you attached to the text on the weeks where life gets loud.
THE PRICE
Why eighteen dollars
Eighteen was not a marketing decision. In Hebrew letters, eighteen spells Chai. Life. That is what we wanted this to cost: a chai a month. Sixty cents a day for a working study hall taught from Tsfat.
On July 31 the price for new members becomes thirty six a month, double chai, which is fitting in its own way. Nothing else changes on that day. Same lessons, same rooms, same rabbis. The only difference is the price on the door, and whoever joined before keeps eighteen for as long as they stay.
For scale, a single recorded Torah course online commonly sells for fifty to three hundred dollars, once, and then it's over. The Oasis adds new lessons several times a week and the price of everything, forever, is the price of one lunch a month.

WHO TEACHES
Guided by teachers,
grounded in a real place
Rabbi Moshe Alshech, known as the Alshech HaKadosh, taught in Tsfat in the 1500s, and his commentary still sits on the shelf of nearly every serious beit midrash today. The Academy operates from his city, in the oldest surviving synagogue in Tsfat, a building that has held continuous prayer and learning for hundreds of years.
Our Tsfat Rabbis teach in the synagogue several times a week while building The Oasis so students anywhere can learn along. Inside you will also find teachings from Rabbi Maimi, Friedman, Eliyahu Peretz, Reb Aslam, Efraim Palvanov, & more. The library grows with every week of recording.
The Academy is a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Alshech Center of Tsfat Inc, EIN 93-1049158. Your membership supports the synagogue and the teaching. It does not fund a marketing department.

What actually happens on July 31
Joining today is eighteen dollars a month. From August 1 it is thirty-six for new members, and once the date passes we do not make exceptions, because the people who trusted the deadline deserve for it to have been real.
If you join now, your rate is locked at eighteen for as long as you remain a member. Every lesson we post afterwards lands in your account the same as everyone else's.

Asked before joining
Is this denominational?
No. We teach from the texts themselves, in English, and the room holds members from every background. The standard here is seriousness, not affiliation.
Is the rate really locked in forever?
Yes. Eighteen a month for as long as you remain a member, no matter what we add or what new members pay later. If you cancel and return after July 31, the new rate applies, so if you are in, stay in.
What happens after July 31?
New members pay thirty six a month. For existing members nothing changes at all.
What exactly is included?
Everything. The full Learning Library across five rooms, every new lesson we post, all discussion channels, Ask a Rabbi, chevruta matching, the grief sharing space, and the community celebrations. One membership, one price, nothing gated behind it.
Do I need Hebrew or a strong background?
No. The teaching is in English, sources come translated, and the community is used to meeting people exactly where they are. Bring seriousness. The rest is learnable.
